 ws that high-quality preschool programs significantly enhance children&#39
 \;s\ncognitive\, social\, and emotional development. By engaging in age-ap
 propriate learning experiences\, children\ndevelop essential skills such a
 s language\, early math\, self-regulation\, and cooperation.\nIllinois Sta
 te Board of Education will present early childhood special education servi
 ces for children ages three to\nfive—and their families—are delivered thro
 ugh local school districts and special education cooperatives. These\nserv
 ices are guided by the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
  (IDEA)\, Part B\, and are provided by\nprofessionals trained in early chi
