  million people in recovery from SUDs and an additional 44 million in reco
 very from Mental Health. And while our systems of care have made significa
 nt strides\, members of disproportionately impacted communities continue t
 o experience barriers to quality care and recovery supports. Participants 
 in this training will learn about disproportionate impacts\, existing barr
 iers\, and specific strategies and techniques grounded in the cultural ele
 ments of the people we serve\, with goal of improving outcomes.\n\nPartici
 pants will:\n1. Describe how Mental Health and SUDs disproportionately imp
 act marginalized and racialized populations\;\n2. Describe the cultural el
 ements\, strengths\, and resiliency that exist within disproportionately i
 mpacted individuals\, families and communities\; and\n3. Identify 5-8 spec
 ific techniques and strategies designed to improve outcomes\, wellness and
  recovery for these populations.\n
