This presentation will describe the clinical model and evidence base of Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), a comprehensive, development-promoting intervention for adolescent and young adult substance abuse and delinquency. MDFT has been developed since 1985 in a series of randomized clinical trials in the U.S. and Western Europe.

Participants will:
1. Acquire knowledge about MDFT, an evidence-based family treatment model
2. Identify the four domains in which MDFT operates and their main features
