This training will assist attendees in learning about the emotions children experience, better understand the impact of trauma in regard to regulating emotions and learn strategies to help children better recognize and regulate emotions.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
• Define emotions
• List four basic emotions
• Discuss the impacts trauma has on emotional development
• Define PACE Parenting
• List ways to help children talk about and gain better understanding of emotions
