Voices of Survivors: Navigating Domestic Violence Services in Southern Illinois
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join us for a powerful virtual panel featuring four survivors from Southern Illinois as they share their experiences of navigating domestic violence, accessing services, leaving abusive relationships, and finding their way toward healing.
During this conversation, panelists will speak about their experiences within abusive relationships, the challenges and barriers they encountered while seeking help, what ultimately helped them leave, and what healing and rebuilding their lives has looked like since.
This panel offers an opportunity to listen directly to survivors and gain a deeper understanding of the realities of domestic violence and the experiences of those seeking support throughout our region. Their stories highlight both the challenges within existing systems and the importance of compassionate, accessible, survivor-centered services.
The panel is open to the public.
